Gertrude Puharich Dies At 77
Gertrude N. Puharich, 77, a Sausalito resident for 55 years, died in a San Francisco hospital yesterday after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Emanuel Puharich of 33 Glen Drive, Sausalito, who survives her. Puharich operates Sausalito Hardware and Plumbing.
A native of San Francisco, Mrs. Puharich was a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Mill Valley and a member of the Poppy Club of Sausalito.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Frank J. Keaton Mortuary in Sausalito. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Harold Puharich of Sausalito; daughters Gladys Watson of Santa Rosa and Constance Hansen of Eureka; brothers George Saxton of Arizona and Stanley Saxton of Mill Vally; and a sister, Ruth Satmary of Larkspur.
