OLIVE L. McASKILL
Olive L. McAskill, a Novato resident, died Friday in Pleasant Hill hospital after a short illness. She was 79.
A native of Fairfield, she lived in Novato for the lat 14 years after moving to that city from Petaluma.
She was the retired office manager of the California Automobile Association in Petaluma.
She is survived by her son, Harley A. McAskill of Novato; and a sister, Gertrude Powers of San Bernadino, and two grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Harley A. McAskill Sr., who died in 1966.
At her request, no funeral service will be held. She will be buried at Cypress Hill Cemetery in Petaluma.
The family prefers that contributions be made to the Saint Anthony’ Dining Room, 121 Golden Gate Ave. in San Francisco.
