LAURANCE E. PEARSON
Laurance E. Pearson, 69, of San Rafael, a retired maintenance man for San Rafael City Schools, died Thursday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Pearson was a member of the Greenbrae Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was a native of Idaho who had been a resident of Marin since 1935.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Pearson of San Rafael; two daughters, Lorrain Kinerson of Spokane, Wash., and Linda Pearson of San Rafael; a son, Laurance Pearson of Walla Walla, Wash.; two sisters, Alice Ayers and Emerald Christian, both of Idaho; and three brothers, Veron Pearson and Wilbur Pearson, both of Idaho, and Paul Pearson of Spokane.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Monte’s Mission Chapel, San Rafael. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity or church.
