EDLA KELLY
San Rafael resident
For over 50 years, Edla M. ‘Penny’ Kelly worked to expand opportunities and improve the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities.
Mrs. Kelly, of San Rafael, died Oct. 19.
She was born in Perth, West Australia, and was an accomplished artist who enjoyed nature.
Mrs. Kelly’s civic service included Project ABLE, Sonoma State Center for Developmentally Disabled, and Marin Ventures.
A private memorial gathering was held.
Memorial contributions may be made to ABLE, a Perpetual Endowment Fund for De Anza House Residents, 350 Merrydale, San Rafael, 94903.
