EDNA S. GERMAN
Private inurnment has been held at Callicoon, New York for Edna S. German who died Friday at a local hospital following a brief illness. She was 93.
A memorial service for Mrs. German, an 11-year resident of Novato, was also held Monday evening at the Good Shepherd Lutheran church here.
A native of New York City, Mrs. German grew up there but spent many years in Callicoon before moving to Novato to make her home with a daughter, Lynn Childs.
Mrs. German had taught kindergarten in New York.
Besides Mrs. Childs, she is survived by another daughter, Helena M. Wichum of Troy, Pa.; a brother, Dr. Joyn W. Schelpert Jr., of Eastchester, N.Y. and two granddaughters, Carol and Cindy Childs, of San Francisco.
Memorial contributions to the Martha Lloyd School, Troy, Pa., 16947, are preferred by the family.
