ALFRED KRAEGER
Journeyman Plumber

Alfred Kraeger was a founding member and committee Chairman of Boy Scouts Troop #43 of Larkspur/Corte Madera.

Mr. Kraeger, 96, formerly of Marin, died Oct. 19 in Santa Cruz.

The native of California was raised in San Francisco and lived in Marin 59 years.

He was mechanically inclined, according to family, and could solve “unsolvable problems.”

His memberships included Freemasons of San Francisco.

Mr. Kraeger is survived by a daughter, Spring Kraeger of San Francisco and a son, Brook Kraeger of Santa Cruz County.

His wife, Juliet, died earlier.

A private service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Marin Open Space, Hospice, or the Salvation Army.
