MINETTE ALEXANDER
A private memorial service will be held for Minette Alexander of Tiburon, a Marin resident since 1978.
She died Sunday at a Tiburon convalescent hospital. She was 94.
Mrs. Alexander was born in Colorado and attended schools there. She also attended Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
She married Daniel Alexander, an attorney, in Salt Lake City. The couple lived in Salt Lake City from 1912 to 1932, when Alexander died.
Mrs. Alexander moved to San Francisco about 1940 and lived in the Clift Hotel. She lived there for 37 years until moving to Tiburon.
She is survived by a son, Daniel Alexander of Los Altos Hills; two daughters, Janet McGeorge of Mill Valley and Marion Peterson of Pacific Palisades; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial donations to Guide Dogs for the Blind or a favorite charity.
