JOSEPH R. BANNISTER
Fairfax resident

Joseph Raymond Bannister of Fairfax died Nov. 1 at his home. He was 71.

Born in California, Mr. Bannister was a 40-year resident of Fairfax.

Mr. Bannister was a U. S. Army veteran. He worked as a display man for Sears Roebuck & Co. and other large department stores in San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Francine Bannister of Novato; a son, Raymond L. Bannister of Novato; and two grandchildren. His son, Kim Bannister, died earlier.

At his request, no services will be held.
