IRWIN C. HOLZHAUER
Irwin C. Holzhauer, 76, of Fairfax, died Thursday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Holzhauer was born in Berkeley and lived in Mill Valley for 30 years before moving to Fairfax 15 years ago.
He was a retired furrier and worked for various San Francisco firms for 44 years.
He was a member of Mill Valley Lodge No. 356, Free and Accepted Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; a daughter, Jean Kilpatrick of Redding; two brothers, Earl Holzhauer of San Francisco and Stanley Holzhauer of Van Nuys; and a grandson and a granddaughter.
Private family services were held today at chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
