LAURA CONNOR
Laura Connor of San Rafael, a Marin resident for about 15 years, died Tuesday at a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 95.
Mrs. Connor was born in San Francisco and lived there during the 1906 earthquake and fire. She moved to Marin in 1965.
She was a resident of the Nazareth House in San Rafael. She was a homemaker.
She was married to Joseph A. Connor, an insurance agent in San Francisco. He died in 1944.
She is survived by a daughter, Eleanor “Nell” Leake of Woodland; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Nazareth House chapel, 245 Nova Albion Way, Terra Linda. The rosary will be recited today at 7 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
The family prefers memorial donations to Nazareth House.
