CHARLES N. HADLEY
Private inurnment for Charles N. Hadley of Santa Rosa, a former longtime Marin resident, has been held at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
Hadley, a retired public accountant, died Sunday in Santa Rosa after an illness.
Hadley was born in Redwood City but moved to Marin as a child and spent most of his adult life in San Anselmo. He moved to Santa Rosa in 1976.
He was an Eagle Scout in Sausalito and graduated from Tamalpais High School where he was a champion quarter-miler on the track team in 1920. Hadley was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston. He also belonged to the Marin Rod and Gun Club and the Society of California Accountants.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Hadley of Santa Rosa; a son, Alan Hadley of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Donna Case of Hayward; two sisters, Eleanor Draeger of Santa Rosa and Lois Wright of Novato; and a grandson.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be to a favorite charity.
