DONALD V. McHUGH
Memorial service has been held for Donald V. McHugh who did last week at Kaiser Hospital following a brief illness. He was 68.
A native of Kokoa, Missouri, McHugh was an 18-year veteran of the Air Force and served in Bermuda, Hawaii, Texas and other areas before retiring as a first sergeant.
He first came to California in 1940 when he was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base.
He was a member of the Novato Citizens’ Band radio club, the Save Our Bear Club of the California Highway Patrol and Marin County REACT.
Surviving are his wife, Anna McHugh, of Novato; three sons, Gerald McHugh, of Sebastopol, and Allen McHugh and Lyle McHugh, both of Novato; four daughters, Donna Larsen of Novato, Judith Lutsouvich of Petaluma, Jenny Lee of Novato, and June Thomas of Potter Valley; 10 grandchildren and two foster grandchildren.
