Robert W. McAnally

Private family services will be conducted Thursday at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno for Robert W. McAnally, formerly of Mill Valley.

Mr. McAnally, who was 91, died Saturday, June 27, 1987, at London House Convalescent Hospital in Santa Rosa after a short illness.

He was a native of Missouri and was a Navy veteran of World War I and a member of the Mill Valley Masonic Lodge.

He was a mail carrier for 35 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Mill Valley and retired in 1966. He lived in Mill Valley for the past 65 years and had previously lived in Willits.

Mr. McAnally is survived by a daughter, Marjorie E. McDonogh of Santa Rosa; a son, Robert G. McAnally of North Carolina; a sister, Loreen Harris of Napa; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His wife, Leone E. McAnally, died earlier.

Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery.
