ELIZABETH GIAMBASTIANI
Elizabeth Frances Giambastiani, a resident of Point Reyes Station for more than 50 years, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital, of burns.
Mrs. Giambastiani, 75, was burned when her clothing ignited while she was trying to light a fireplace the evening of Feb. 15.
She was born in Sacramento. She was a member of Foresters of America.
She is survived by her husband Louis of the home; four sons, Richard L. Giambastiani and Lawrence J. Giambastiani of San Rafael, Marvin A. Giambastiani of Novato and George D. Giambastiani of Petaluma; a sister, Katherine Simichich of San Francisco; two brothers, George Smith of Inverness Park and Gaspar Smith of Yuba City, and eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, San Rafael, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Bothin Burn Center, St. Francis Hospital, 900 Hyde St., San Francisco.
