MARGARET ANHORN
Funeral was held last evening at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home for Margaret L. Anhorn, former bus driver for the Novato Unified School District.
Mrs. Anhorn died Saturday at a hospital in Petaluma where she had lived for the past two years.
A native of Oakland, she had made her home in Novato for about 50 years before moving to Petaluma. She was employed as a bus driver for the Petaluma City Transit.
Surviving are two daughters, Dee Dee Colella, of Novato, and Adrienne Wheeler, of Santa Rosa; three brothers, Richard Johnson, of Novato, Ted Johnson, of Pilot Hill, California, and Bill Johnson of Fresno; three sisters, Willie Worden, of Novato, Lee Dougherty, of Florida, and Thelma Hale of California; and three grandchildren.
Burial was at Bahia Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to favorite charities are preferred by the family.
