KATHERINE MURDOCK

Funeral was held yesterday in Winnemucca, Nevada, for Katherine Murdock, former Novato resident, who died Thursday in Winnemucca at the age of 91.

A native of Ireland, Mrs. Murdock came to San Francisco at the age of 15 and spent most of her life there. She was employed for many years in the Federal Building in San Francisco.

She moved to Novato about 15 years ago and was a member of the First Baptist Church here. She moved to Nevada in 1975.

She was the wife of the late James Murdock.

Surviving are six sons, John, James and Hughie Murdock of Winnemucca, Leslie Murdock of Reno, Clifford Murdock of San Diego, and Walter Murdock of San Rafael; a daughter, Retina Morris, of Livermore; a sister, Ann Cole, of Novato, and a grandson, Mark Murdock, of Petaluma.

Burial was in Winnemucca.
