OTTO T. ERICKSON
Otto T. Erickson of Tacoma, Wash., a former Marin resident, died Feb. 21 in Washington. He was 84.
Erickson was born in Kansas and attended Gustavus Adolphus College where he studied to become a minister. He was ordained as a pastor in June 1922 at the Norunga Lutheran Church in Lowry, Minn.
He and his wife, Edith, served in parishes in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Alameda County. He moved to Marin in 1965. The couple moved to Washington state in 1975.
He served as assistant pastor of the Faith Lutheran Church in San Rafael while living in Marin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Rev. Lowell Erickson of Tacoma; a daughter, Fern Bennett of San Rafael; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The family prefers memorial donations to the Faith Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd Lutheran Church. (sic)
