MARGUERITE MONTEVERDI
Marguerite Monteverdi, 73, died early today in a local hospital. She was a Fairfax resident.
Funeral arrangements are awaiting the arrival of family from Oregon.

MARGUERITE MONTEVERDI
At her request no funeral or memorial services will be held for Marguerite Monteverdi, 73, of Fairfax, a retired Pacific Telephone Co. employee.
Mrs. Monteverdi died Thursday at a local hospital after an illness.
She had worked for Pacific Telephone Co. for 45 years and retired from the special accounts office in San Francisco.
Mrs. Monteverdi was a native of Dallas who moved to Napa as a child with her family and later to San Francisco. She had been a resident of Marin for 31 years.
For the past several years she had been active with the Whistlestoppers Senior Services Center in San Anselmo.
Surviving are a son, Anthony Monteverdi of Portland, Ore.; a brother, Herman Zurbruegg of Suisun; and three grandsons.
Burial will be at the Italian Cemetery, South San Francisco.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Hanna Boys Center, Sonoma.
