MELVIN G. OLSEN
A memorial service will be held for Melvin G. Olsen Friday at 7 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Novato.
Olsen died Tuesday in a San Francisco hospital after a long illness. He was 74.
A native of North Dakota, Olsen was a resident of San Rafael.
He was a retired printer who worked with Adhesive Products Co. in Albany for 45 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Joan Rojas of Novato; two brothers, Oscar B. Olsen of North Dakota and Chester A. Sellivold of South Dakota; and four grandchildren.
He will be buried at Bahia Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
The family prefers that memorial donations be made to the Irwin Memorial Blood Bank in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the father-in-law of Richard R. Rojas, and grandfather of Martin, Joan, Richard and Scott Rojas.
