MANUEL G. AZEVEDO
Manuel G. Azevedo, a longtime resident of Novato, died Monday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 62.
A native of California, he lived in the Novato area most of his life and worked as a milker for the Silveira Ranch in Novato.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by four brothers, Frank Azevedo of Anderson, Shasta County, Tony Azevedo of Petaluma, George Azevedo of Rohnert Park and John Azevedo of Novato; four sisters, Mary Scurlock, Rose Beck, and Eva “Gerrie” Sheehan, all of San Francisco; and Gennie Beebe of Novato.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato. A rosary service will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato. Burial will be at Bahia Valley Memorial Park, Novato.
