PHILLIP BARTHOLOMEW
At his request, no service will be held for Phillip Bartholomew of Mill Valley.
Bartholomew died Tuesday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 68.
A native of Colorado, Bartholomew was a Marin County resident for more than 40 years. Before retiring, he owned the Fireside Bar in Mill Valley.
Bartholomew is survived by his wife, Barbara Bartholomew of Mill Valley; his mother, Mary Bartholomew of Vallejo; two brothers, Edward Bartholomew of San Jose and Victor Bartholomew of Vallejo; four sisters, Vera Jones of Pebble Beach, Flora Thorsted and Dorothy Dailey, both of Vallejo, and Elsie Ryan of San Francisco.
The family prefers contributions to the Marin County Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
