RUDOLF RUDIGER

At his request no services will be held for Rudolf (Rudi) Rudiger, 51, of Tiburon, developer of Go-Boats and former proprietor of Tiburon TV.

Rudiger died Monday at his home after a long illness.

Rudiger, founder of the Great Outdoor Boat Company in San Rafael, had been a resident of Marin for 13 years.

He was a native of Switzerland, who moved to United States in 1949 and lived at South Lake Tahoe before moving to Marin.

Rudiger was owner of Tiburon TV until 1975 when he went into the boating business, developing the Go-Boat, a small sailcraft.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley A. Rudiger of Tiburon; a son, Mark Rudiger; three daughters, Robin C. Bolstad and Deidre A. and Kirsten E. Rudiger, all of Marin; his father, three brothers, and two grandchildren.
