JAMES THALHAMER
Requiem Mass will be offered for James W. Thalhamer of Fairfax at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Saint Rita’s Church, Fairfax.
Thalhamer, 67, died Saturday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in San Antonio, Tex., moved to San Francisco in 1934 and has been a Marin resident for the past 13 years.
Thalhamer had been employed for 22 years as a draftsman-designer by Bechtel Construction company in San Francisco and was a member of the Fairfax Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Edith of 26 Maple Street, Fairfax; sons, James and George Thalhamer, both of Petaluma, and a daughter, Paulette Thalhamer of San Rafael; his mother, Mrs. J. L. Roberts of San Antonio, Tex.; a brother, George Thalhamer of Eugene, Oreg.; and two grandsons.
Recitation of the rosary will be today at 8 p.m. at the Chapel of the Hills. Entombment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael following tomorrow’s mass.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds differing information: he was survived by his mother, Mrs. Pauline Thalhamer of San Antonio, Tex., and his sister, Mrs. J. L. Roberts, also of San Antonio, and grandchildren Todd and Brian Thalhamer. Mr. Thalhamer’s age is given as 62.
