ALICE R. TREANOR
Alice Rodgers Treanor, a lifelong Marin County resident, died Sunday at a local hospital after an illness. She was 76.
Mrs. Treanor was born in Nicasio and attended the Nicasio Grammar School. She graduated from San Rafael High School.
For 20 years she worked as a bookkeeper with the Military Sealift Command Pacific.
Her husband, Harry F. Treanor, died in 1961.
Mrs. Treanor was a 50-year member of Marinita Parlor 198, Native Daughters of the Golden West. She also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Marin Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving are two brothers, Francis S. and John E. Rodgers, and two step-sons, Harry and Mel Treanor.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be private at Golden Gate National Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
