Mrs. Mabel Trotman Dies From Fall In Mill Valley Home

Mrs. Mabel Trotman, 45, of _?_ Sycamore avenue, Mill Valley, was found dead shortly after noon today on the first floor of her home.

The dead woman was found by Mrs. Mary Collins, a neighbor, who had gone to the Trotman home to use the phone.

Deputy Coroner Harold Keaton and Harry Williams, after an investigation, stated that the woman’s neck was broken and she had a fractured skull, sustained they believe, in a fall from the top of a 15-step stair case.

Mrs. Trotman had been dead about 4 hours when the discovery was made.

Mrs. Trotman was living with her two sisters, the Misses Hazel and Alice Wright. They left early this morning for their work in San Francisco. Mrs. Trotman’s husband died several years ago.
