MRS. TISCHBERN
Katherine R. Tischbern, mother of Bert Tischbern and Marian Lawson of San Rafael, died yesterday in a local convalescent hospital after a long illness. She was 86.
Mrs. Tischbern was born in San Francisco and lived all her life there until coming to Marin about five years ago.
In addition to her son and daughter in San Rafael, she is survived by another son, George Tischbern of Paradise, Butte County, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
