CARL STROM
The funeral for Carl E. M. Strom of Petaluma, a lifelong Bay Area resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Anderson’s Mortuary in San Francisco.
Mr. Strom died Monday, June 22, 1987, at Petaluma Valley Hospital after a long illness. He was 81.
He was a resident of the Hacienda Care Center in Petaluma for the past five years. He previously lived in Marin County for 20 years. He was born and reared in San Francisco, where he had worked as a bartender at Café Du Nord.
Mr. Strom was a member and past president of the Swedish Society of San Francisco, a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West and a charter member of the Vasa fraternity.
He is survived by a cousin, Bert Ingbrigtsen of Petaluma, and many nieces and nephews. His wife, Lillian O. Strom, died earlier.
Visitation will be after noon Thursday at the funeral Home.
Entombment will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma.
