JOHN W. MORTON
The funeral for John W. Morton, a San Rafael resident for more than 60 years, was held today. He died Saturday at the age of 88.
He was a native of Ohio.
Before he retired, he was general manager and vice president of the Consolidated Chemical Co. in San Francisco.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Morton of San Rafael, who recently retired after 36 years in the Marin County assessor’s office, and Ellen Windham of Napa, as well as by three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated this morning at St. Raphael’s church, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the husband of the late Helen Morton, and grandfather of Patrick, Jonathan and Mark Windham.
