GORDON JACOBSON

A memorial service for Gordon Jacobson, 21, of Belvedere, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the family home, 416 Golden Gate Ave., Belvedere.

Jacobson died Friday at a local hospital after collapsing while playing basketball at the College of Marin.

A native of Belvedere, Jacobson was a student at the College of Marin. He had previously attended a Reed School District school, the Marin Academy in San Rafael and the Independent Learning School in Corte Madera.

He is survived by his parents, Jean and Berton Jacobson of Belvedere, and three brothers, Derek Jacobson, James Jacobson and Henry Jacobson, all of Belvedere.

Arrangements are being handled by Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. The family prefers memorial gifts to the Belvedere Tiburon Landmarks Society or to the Center for Attitudinal Healing in Tiburon.
