LAURETTA JOHNSON
A private family service was held today in San Anselmo for Lauretta L. Johnson, who lived most of her life in Marin.
Mrs. Johnson, 87, died Saturday in a Sonoma County convalescent hospital.
Before retiring, she worked for many years as a telephone operator.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Marin Council, and the First United Methodist Church of San Rafael.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Lois Egan of San Anselmo; a son, Myron Johnson, also of San Anselmo; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions to the First United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was also the mother of the late LeRoy Johnson Jr. and that she was a native of Chicago, Illinois.
