ARTHUR LESLIE SHERA
Arthur Leslie Shera of Novato died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1987, at his home following a short illness. He was 92.
Mr. Shera, a native of England, lived in Grand Rapids, Mich., for 67 years before moving to Marin in 1985.
He worked for 25 years as a self-employed manufacturing representative in interior design.
Mr. Shera served in the Army and was a member of the 339th ambulance corps in World War I. He was a lifetime member of the Spiritual Frontier Fellowship and was a past master of the York Masonic Lodge in Grand Rapids. More recently, Mr. Shera was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Novato.
He is survived by his wife, Meta Shera of Novato; and a daughter, Suzanne Misner of Novato.
The Neptune Society in San Rafael is handling arrangements. No services are planned.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be sent to a favorite charity.
