We regret to hear of the death of Alfred Edwards of San Anselmo, brother of C. C. Edwards of Bayside Acres. The sympathy of the community is extended Mr. Edwards in the loss of his brother.

Alfred S. Edwards, Marin County Business Man, Died Sunday
Alfred S. Edwards, known throughout the State in the early days as Billy Edwards, promoter and manager of prize fighters, but more recently connected with the Lafargue Laundry Co. as one of the partners in the business, died suddenly last Sunday at his home in Lansdale this county.
The deceased was 57 years old and the cause of his death was an acute heart attack.
Alfred Soule Edwards was the husband of Mabel Edwards and brother of Zenas Plummer, Jose Sedwick, Clement, Calvin and Ralph R. Edwards, and Mrs. Mary L. Erane (sic), a native of Illinois. He was a member of Doric Lodge, F. and A. M., also San Rafael Pyramid, No. 31, Sciots.
Friends and acquaintances attended the funeral services Wednesday, April 28, at 2 o’clock p.m. at Sawyer’s parlors, where the services were under the auspices of Marin Lodge, No. 191, F. and A. M. Interment was private.
