JOSEPH W. BLEASDALE
Sonoma – Joseph William Bleasdale, a Sonoma resident and former resident of Marin County, died in a Sonoma Hospital Saturday. He was 83.
A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Duggan’s Mission Chapel in Sonoma. Interment will follow at the Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma.
A native of Monterey, Bleasdale had lived in Sonoma for the past 15 years, moving there after 23 years in Marin County. He was a self-employed butcher and a member of the butcher’s union.
Bleasdale is survived by his son, Eugene Bleasdale of Alamo; his brother, Frank Bleasdale of San Francisco; four sisters, Mamie Bleasdale and Etta Plant, both of San Francisco, Elsie Stephens of Belmont and Pauline Wisnom of Foster City; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
