RUTH SWENSON

Greenbrae – Services have been held in Connecticut for Ruth Swenson, a housewife, of Greenbrae.

Mrs. Swenson, who was about 80, died Tuesday after a sudden illness while visiting her sister.

She was the widow of Walter J. Swenson, a retired banker in Mill Valley and Sausalito.

Mrs. Swenson was a resident of Mill Valley for about 50 years before moving to Greenbrae about two years ago. She was a member of the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross and the Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club. She was a native of Connecticut.

Surviving are a sister, Iona Carlson of Stamford, Conn.

Burial was in Connecticut.
