MARY GIONO PATRI
Mary Giono Patri, former San Rafael resident, died Monday in a local rest home at the age of 91.
She was born in Pinerolo, Italy, and came to this country as a young woman. She lived in San Francisco until moving to San Rafael about seven years ago.
She had been in Petaluma the last three months.
Two husbands, Attilio Giono and Costante Patri, died earlier.
Surviving are her son, Ernest “Rusty” Giono of San Anselmo; her daughter, Amalia Franceschi of Sonoma; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in San Francisco. Entombment will be in the Italian Cemetery, Colma. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 at Currivan’s Chapel of the Sunset in San Francisco.
The family prefers donations to a favorite charity.
