FRANK P. DE MELLO

Frank P. De Mello of San Rafael, a Marin resident for 66 years, died Wednesday at his home following a length illness. He was 69.

De Mello was a native of the Azores and moved to Marin with his parents as a child. He attended local schools and graduated from San Rafael High School.

De Mello had various jobs, including bartending and operating a plywood business. He was retired.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J. De Mello; a brother, Camilo Mello of San Francisco; two sisters, Mary Borracchia and Lolly Grady, both of San Rafael; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family Mass of Resurrection will be held Saturday at the Carmelite Monastery in San Rafael. Burial will be private.

The family prefers memorial donations to the Carmelite Monastery, 530 Blackstone Drive, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that he was also the brother of the late Joseph H. Mello.
