WILMA E. THOMPSON
A funeral service will be held for Wilma Thompson at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato.
Mrs. Thompson, 53, died Wednesday at a local hospital after becoming ill unexpectedly at home.
A native of Petaluma, she lived in the Novato area most of her life.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7816 Auxiliary of Novato and the Marin Bonsai Club.
She was a former employee at Hamilton Air Force Base and with the North Marin County Water District.
Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Thompson of Novato; her mother, Eileen Tobin of Petaluma; three daughters, Deborah Fulkerson of Redwood Valley, Tamara and Terri Thompson, both of Novato; a son, Charles E. Thompson Jr. of Novato; two brothers, Clarence Tobin Jr. of Novato and Robert Tobin of Santa Rosa; two sisters, Lillian Cash of Carson City, Nev., and Shirley Butti of Petaluma.
She will be buried at the Bahia Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
