MYRTLE BALLARD
Myrtle Ballard, a longtime Marin County resident, died Thursday at the Veteran’s Home in Yountville after a long illness. She was 90.
A native of Healdsburg, she lived in San Rafael most of her life.
She was a retired legal secretary, having worked for several attorneys and Marin Superior Court Judge Charles Brusatori.
Mrs. Ballard was a member of the American Legion Post 37 and was a veteran of service in the U.S. Navy during World War I.
She is survived by a nephew, Emerson B. McNally of Novato; and a cousin, Omar E. McNally of San Rafael.
Graveside services were held Monday in the Oak Mound Cemetery in Healdsburg.
