RALPH W. SAUBER
Ralph W. Sauber, a former Novato resident, died in Honolulu April 24 of a heart attack.
He was 59.
Sauber was born in Wisconsin. He served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II. He moved to California in 1957. He lived in Novato 1963-68. He worked for Ampex Corp. and Haskings and Sells in San Rafael.
In 1968, he moved to Tokyo where he worked for Ampex International. He moved to Hawaii in 1973.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Sauber of Honolulu; three daughters, Barbara Arnold of Memphis, Tenn., Kathleen Jones of San Rafael and Mary Lou Roman of Novato; two sons, William Sauber of Fillmore, Ventura County, and Michael Sauber of San Lorenzo, N.M.; a brother, Raymond Sauber and a sister, Florence Wermerskirchen, both of Minnesota; and five grandchildren.
