EVA VICE
The funeral service for Eva Vice, 83, of San Anselmo will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Community Church, San Rafael.
Mrs. Vice died Tuesday at a local convalescent hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Leslie Vice.
She was a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union and Trinity Church in San Rafael.
Mrs. Vice was a native of Tulare County, who moved to San Francisco in 1906 and lived there until she came to Marin in 1956.
She had been a visitor to the Pixie Preschool in San Rafael where she would tell stories to children who called her “Grandma Vice.”
Surviving are a daughter, Pauline E. Leoni of San Anselmo; two sons, Robert L. Vice of Reno, and James A. Vice of Redwood City; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Daystar Christian Preschool, 1675 Grand Ave., San Rafael.
