DONALD M. LORIMER
A graveside service was held today for Donald M. Lorimer of Novato.
Lorimer, 57, died Saturday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of Toronto, Lorimer moved to Marin four years ago from the Los Altos area.
Before his retirement in 1979, Lorimer had worked as a metallurgical engineer in the quality control department of the Bechtel Corp. for 30 years.
Lorimer served in the Canadian armed forces during World War II.
He is survived by his son, Bruce Lorimer of Sunnyvale; two daughters, Cynthia Lorimer and Dorothea Lorimer, both of Novato; his mother, Dorothea M. Lorimer of New York; one sister, Ann Andes of Baltimore and his brother, Norman A. Lorimer of Connecticut.
