CLINTON W. ELLINGTON

Clinton W. Ellington, a Novato resident, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was 65.

A native of Missouri, he spent most of his life in North Kansas City, Mo., where he was the owner of a real estate firm until he retired last June and moved to Novato.

He was a past president of the North Kansas City Lions Club, a charter member of the Kansas City Breakfast Club, and program chairman of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ellington of Novato; two daughters, Judith Lamperti of Novato and Janet Aikins of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Thelma Fox of Missouri; four brothers, L. V. Pierson, Ollis, Lloyd, and Wilbert Ellington, all of Missouri; and three grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Keaton’s Chapel of Marin. Burial will be at Bahia Valley Memorial Park cemetery in Novato.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was also the brother of the late Marley and Glenn Ellington; his grandchildren were Sherry and Brian Aikins and Amber Lamperti.
