Edwin Reynolds, who for years was a resident of Santa Rosa and one of the best known men in Sonoma county, died at his home in Oakland on New Year’s night. Born in England he was aged 80 years. For more than 35 years the deceased had been a resident of California. Nine years ago he removed from Santa Rosa to Oakland where he passed into rest. The deceased was the father of Edwing H. Reynolds of Mill Valley, engineer on one of the trains of the Mill Valley division of the N.W.P.R.R. and who is a former Petaluman. The deceased also left the following children: Misses Georgia, Leo and Gladys Reynolds of Oakland, Mrs. Thomas Brown of Reno, Nev. Mr. Reynolds was master mechanic of the San Francisco & North Pacific R. R. for many years.
