MARIE-LOUISE SCHRICK

A memorial mass for Marie-Louise Kleiner Schrick of Mill Valley is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Mrs. Schrick died in her home Sunday morning following a lengthy illness. She was 74.

A native of Schwabish Hall, Wurtemburg, West Germany, Mrs. Schrick came to the United States in 1926. After arriving in New York, she proceeded to San Francisco where she completed her nurses training at San Francisco General Hospital.

She remained at the hospital as a registered nurse, rising to the position of assistant director of nurses. She retired in 1970.

Mrs. Schrick lived in Marin County for more than 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Schrick of Mill Valley; one daughter, Marilouise Karbosky of San Diego; a son, Arnold H. Schrick of San Rafael; three sisters, Anne Baumann, Elsa Stark and Maria Merkle, all of West Germany; one brother, Karl Kleiner, also of West Germany and four grandchildren.

The family prefers donations to the Hospice of Marin.
