Death Summons Mrs. Mary Treanor

Death carried away another old settler here last Friday night when Mrs. Mary Treanor answered a final summons. Deceased was one of the last of the old residents of this city. She came here nearly forty years ago and lived her continuously up to the time of her death. She was seventy years of age and the widow of the late Frank Treanor who died some twenty years ago. Her children are William, Frank, Thomas, Mary and the late Peter J. Treanor.

The funeral took place at 9:30 Monday morning from St. Raphael’s church where a Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul. The interment followed at Mt. Olivet cemetery. The church was filled with many friends of the dead woman who came to pay their last respect to one who had through a long and useful life endeared herself to them The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
