MICHAEL P. PIEL
A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael P. Piel of Mill Valley will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mill Valley.
Piel, 39, died at his home on Monday after a three-week illness.
He was a printer for the past 10 years with his own business, Label Center Ind. Inc. Alameda.
A native of Germany, he was a member of the Press Club of San Francisco and the Elks Club in Alameda.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Piel of Mill Valley; a daughter, Michelle Piel of Mill Valley; and two brothers, Harold Piel of Daly City and Hans Piel of Germany.
Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions his late child, Nicholas A. Piel, and his late parents, Herbert and Anna Piel. He was the son-in-law of Florence Musich of San Francisco and the late Anton Musich.
