JEAN H. LEONIS
A funeral has been held for Jean H. Leonis of Greenbrae.
Mrs. Leonis, 88, died Sunday at a local convalescent hospital.
She was born in England. She moved to California 50 years ago. She lived in Whittier and San Francisco before moving to Marin where she lived in Mill Valley for 28 years.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Union Oil in San Francisco for 30 years. She moved to the Tamalpais in Greenbrae eight years ago.
She is survived by two stepchildren, John Leonis of Northridge, Los Angeles County, and Rosemary Torney of Greenbrae.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Whittier.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the Tamalpais Hospital Memorial Fund, 501 Via Casitas, Greenbrae, 94904.
