W. JACK MYRICK DIES AT 81

W. Jack Myrick, a resident of San Anselmo for 18 years, died early today at a local hospital after a short illness. He was 81.

He was a retired shoe salesman and shoe department manager from Fort Worth, Tex. He and his wife, Martha, lived at 46 Forest Avenue, San Anselmo.

He was a native of Fulton, Ky. and a member of the Church of Christ of San Rafael.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paula Butcher of San Anselmo; a son, Sgt. Maj. Julian H. Myrick of the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton; a brother, Herlie D. Myrick of F ort Worth; three grandchildren , and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Harry M. Williams Mortuary in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the brother of the late Myrtle V. Myrick, Mrs. Carmel Moore and Mrs. R. M. Kindel. He was the grandfather of Mrs. Barbara Thompson and Mrs. Janis Anderson of Fairfax and Jack Myrick of Oceanside, Calif.
