BEN MAIN Killed in Distressing Accident

A small, saddened family is left to mourn the loss of Ben Main, 27, of Fairfax, who met death Thursday when a heavy tractor which he was repairing, slipped its break (sic) and rolled over his head, killing him instantly.

The young man had not come home that night and his brother, Frank J. Main, Fairfax contractor in charge of the grading work of the Marin approach to the Golden Gate Bridge, went in search the following morning and found his younger brother under the tractor, his head crushed in the earth.

He is survived by his widow, Gladys Main; daughter, Nancy Jean, 4 months old; his father, Jas. Main; sisters, Mrs. L. J. Bargalotti, Mrs. Carl Juler, Mrs. Charles Prickett, Esther and Amy Main, and his brother, Frank Main.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the mortuary of Keaton and Dusel.
