Raymond Duffy Dies Of Pneumonia
Raymond E. Duffy, member of the firm of Duffy Brothers and son of Mrs. Julia Duffy, passed away yesterday afternoon after a short illness from pneumonia at the Ross Sanatorium. He was taken ill suddenly a few days before and the development of the fever was so rapid that he was hurried to the hospital from treatment immediately.
W[ord?] was sent to the relatives and they were present when death came. [illegible words] held Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Raphael’s church, and burial under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
The deceased is survived by his mother, four brothers, Edward R., Stewart H., Milton P., and Lester C. Duffy, and a sister, Mrs. C. W. Norton, of San Francisco.
